Jammu, June 30: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday exhorted party leaders to aggressively pursue agenda of the party ahead of the coming Assembly elections in J&K. In the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting of the party, Mehbooba Mufti asked party leaders to start preparations for contesting Assembly elections alone without entering into any alliance with any political party. Sources said that during the PAC Mehbooba Mufti said that instead of compromising with dignity and succumbing before any other party, the PDP would prefer to go in alone in the Assembly elections. Sources said in the meeting, it was decided that panels of potential candidates would be constituted to start the process of selecting candidates for the coming Assembly polls.
