| Bovine smuggling attempts foiled, 07 Bovines Rescued in Tikri | | |

Udhampur, June 30: Police rescued 07 Bovines and seized vehicle used for bovine smuggling.
Police team of Police Post Tikri led by its SHOand assisted by IC PP Tikri foiled bovine smuggling bid in which 07 bovines were rescued and a vehicle bearing registration number JK20C 1172 seized from Tikri chowk. Accused person (driver of the vehicle) fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on road. In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal and further investigation of the case is underway. |
