Early Times Report

RS Pura, June 30: Senior People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Narinder Sharma Sunday organized joining programme wherein several prominent persons joined PDP leaving other political parties as their leaders are not in a mood to serve the people and give their intention towards the development of RS Pura constituency. Sharma welcome their decision of joining PDP and assured them to come up with them at every movement and struggle with them for their rights, development and basic needs.
“The people have made up their mind to teach anti-people political parties a lesson in the forthcoming Assembly elections as a result of which repeated attempts have been made to linger on the elections,” Sharma expressed satisfaction that PDP’s agenda of development was now seen positively not just in Kashmir Valley but in Jammu and Ladakh regions also. But “It is really a matter of satisfaction for our party that people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions have connecting themselves with PDP and this party has earned credibility and faith of the people of all regions and sub-regions of the state”, he said and added that people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh were also treating PDP as their real voice because leadership of this party has earned faith and trust of the people by its convictions and commitments.
Sharma said the PDP emerged as a process and platform in times of uncertainty and hopelessness. “The party created space for dignity in democracy when people won’t relate to democratic process,” he said. “Our party stands for hope in despairing times and that’s what Mehbooba Mufti is trying to ignite.” He said women have always held a special place in the PDP and Mehbooba is a symbol of public confidence in the women in particular to lead the society to new lights. Sharma appreciated the initiatives of Mehbooba Mufti led Government which went long way to land the State in peace and prosperity.
The people friendly measures taken now speak of Mehbooba’s commitment of compassion and popular leader. He urged the party cadre to reach out to people and expand party base. He assured party functionaries of full support and cooperation to make PDP as premier party in the State.
