Jammu, June 30: The respiratory system takes up oxygen from the air, and we breathe and expel the unwanted carbon dioxide. The main organ of the respiratory system is lungs. Other respiratory organs include the nose, the trachea, and the breathing muscles ( the diaphragmic and intercostal muscles). our cells need oxygen to survive. One of the waste products produced by cells is another gas called carbon dioxide. In the session, it was explained by Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner, President Vichar Kranti Manch international, and Chairman Indian yoga Association, that the base of all the Pranayams is deep and long breathing. It helps in practicing Pranayam, while on one side, Pran circulates informally from toe to head, with this practice, instability of mind is also removed. It is the easiest way to relax and let your worries go. One can do it pretty much anywhere, and it only takes a few minutes. It is also called belly breathing, abdominal breeding, yogic breathing, and conscious breeding. It helps to ease stress, and it can also lower blood pressure and relax tense muscles. When one learns a healthy way to relax, it can be easier to avoid healthy choices, making his order to make healthy choices like picking good food or finding the energy to exercise. When you are relaxed, you can be more mindful. Special interest was shown by Dr Renu Gupta Chairperson, Model Institute of Education & Research and did practical too, supported by Dr Aditya Gupta, Director MIER and Rupa Gupta, Joint Director, they all showed keen interest in health awareness session and proposed to organize a monthly yoga session in the Institute, under the guidance of Yoga Commissioner Dr Jain. Incidently, it was the happy birthday of Dr. Aditya Gupta, Director, was celebrated by VKMI Members and of Pader Welfare Front. |
