Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 3: Al Hana Babar, a Grade 12 student from Jodhamal Public School in Jammu and Kashmir, proudly released her book, "Her Dream Her Code." She explained that this book delves into the vital role of women in society, particularly in the field of technology and social impact, and underscores the transformative contributions women and girls have made throughout history. Her book highlights trailblazers such as Katherine Johnson, Ada Lovelace, Manjula Lee, Sudha Murthy, Malala Yousafzai, Kerry Bannigan and many others who have profoundly influenced society and shaped it's progress.
Al Hana's own achievements include securing two patents in the field of technology. Her innovations encompass a wave energy harvesting device and a sophisticated handcrafts and textile logistics management system. This system integrates advanced technologies such as Blockchain, IoT, and AI, significantly enhancing transparency, efficiency, and counterfeiting prevention within the textile supply chain. Renowned as both a TEDx Speaker and Organizer, Al Hana is also celebrated for her impactful talk, "Donate a Dream." where she builds a strong case for donations of unfulfilled dreams. From the past few years she has been running a campaign "Her Dream Her Code," which is dedicated to teaching young girls science experiments and drumming. A champion drummer herself, Al Hana's dedication to her cause has also earned her the prestigious Karmaveer Chakra award, instituted in partnership with the United Nations, for her work.
During the press conference, attendees praised Al Hana for her thoughts and visionary ambition to build her own startup. In her address, Al Hana expressed heartfelt gratitude to her school for nurturing her talents, and to her parents and friends for fostering an environment that encouraged exploration and innovation. The launch of "Her Dream Her Code" marks a significant milestone in Al Hana Babar's journey, setting a standard for her peers. Her school continues to support and celebrate her endeavors, eagerly anticipating the many more accolades she is destined to achieve. Trustee of Jodhamal Public School, Nandan Kuthiala, the principal, Girish Kumar, and esteemed teachers, also lauded this remarkable achievement by their student.
