JKHCBA condemns vandalism of temple urges for perpetrators and preventive measures | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 3: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association, Jammu (JKHCBAJ) strongly condemns the recent vandalism of the Shiv Temple in Dharmari area of Reasi district. This heinous act is not only a blatant attack on a place of worship but also an assault on the communal harmony that binds our society together. General Secretary Parvesh Singh Salaria urge the administration to act swiftly and act against those who Are responsible for this blasphemous act. The perpetrators must be dealt with an iron hand, and their plans to disrupt communal harmony must be exposed and foiled. It is imperative that such deliberate attacks on the Hindu religion are not tolerated under any circumstances. While we acknowledge that several arrests have already been made, we demand a speedy and thorough investigation to ensure that all involved are brought to justice promptly. Speedy Investigation is required. Swift justice will deter future acts of vandalism and maintain public confidence in the rule of law. Tolerance should serve the constitutional secular fabric of our nation and should never be misconstrued as a sign of weakness or surrender. The JKHCBAJ stands firm in its resolve to ensure that justice is served and communal harmony is preserved. We call upon the administration to take stringent action against those who seek to create discord and ensure that peace and unity prevail in Reasi and across Jammu and Kashmir. |
