| Act of honesty displayed by security police official | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 3: An exemplary act of honesty by a security police official has garnered widespread praise at the Bhagwati Nagar Base camp. Sanjy pilgrim Omesh Khadiq, a resident of Guna, Madhya Pradesh, inadvertently left his bag containing ?45,000 and important documents near the X-ray baggage scanner point at the base camp.
Sgct Raj Kumar (No. 377/4th Sec ARP No. 016454), who was deployed at the scanner point, found the bag and promptly informed his supervisory officer. Utilizing the documents in the bag, the security team located Mr. Khadiq and returned the bag along with the cash and other documents.
This act of integrity and honesty by Sgct Raj Kumar has been highly praised by many pilgrims. Recognizing his exemplary behavior, the SSP Security Jammu awarded him a commendation certificate and a cash reward to boost his morale and encourage others to emulate his actions. |
