JAMMU, July 3: To celebrate Van Mahotsav, today on 3rd of July 2024, Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur organized Plantation Drive under the theme "Ek Podha Maa Ke Naam"within the college premises under the able guidance of Dr. Seema Arora, Principal of the college. The Principal along with some students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college took part in the plantation drive with great zeal and enthusiasm. Principal shared her valuable words with the students as well as the staff and said that an institution should organize such drives to aware the students regarding beautification, cleanliness, safe environment, hygiene, plantation drives, and health in particular to restore clean environment to save our Mother Earth. She also motivated the students to plant more and more trees and fight the menace of plastic pollution.
The Convenor of the programme was Dr. Maansi Sharma, Assistant Prof. in Education. Others who participated in the drive were Rajeshwar Singh Jamwal, Karan Magotra and Munish. |
