| Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 3 bovines rescued by JKP | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 7: Jammu Police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu police team of PS Arnia during day time have foiled 01 bovine smuggling bid, in which 3 bovines were rescued and 01 vehicle seized, Auto Load Carrier Gold Ace bearing registration number JK02CN-0799 loaded with 03 bovines, driven by driver namely Vijay Singh S/o Surat Singh R/o Kulliyan Tehsil RS Pura Distt. Jammu and helper Balwant Singh S/o Gian Singh R/o Devigarh Tehsil Suchetgarh Distt Jammu arrested on the spot at Naka Devigarh falling under the jurisdiction of PS Arnia.
In this regard, case FIR No.34/2024 U/S 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act has been registered in Police Station Arnia.Further investigation into the matter is underway.
Local people of the area appreciated the strict action of police against bovine smugglers. |
