Early Times Report JAMMU, July 8: In a dedicated effort towards a greener future, Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation, in collaboration with Talla Jewellers, organized a plantation drive at Village Kehranwali, Tehsil Ramgarh, Vijaypur. Under the guidance of Director/CEO, Vivek Parihar, and with the invaluable support of Chief Guest, Sat Pal (Panch, Kehranwali, Tehsil Ramgarh, Vijaypur), and Guest, Suvarn Kumar (Headmaster, Govt. Middle School, Kehranwali, Tehsil Ramgarh, Vijaypur), the event marked a significant contribution to the environment. On this special occasion, 80 vibrant medicinal saplings were planted, including Arjun, Amla, Jamun, Guava, and Eucalyptus (Safeeda). These plants not only enhance the greenery but also contribute to the medicinal resources of the area. Samar, the Environment Domain Incharge, delivered an inspiring message to the locals, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the planted trees. "Many of us plant trees, but few care for them. This time, let's bring a change in that. Reduce waste, save energy, plant trees, and nurture saplings. Let's make a real difference together!" he said. In the spirit of Van Mahotsav, we echo the sentiment, "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." Together, we are committed to nurturing nature and creating a sustainable environment for future generations. The event was graced by the presence of dedicated members of the foundation, including Sahil, Navya, Sachin, Kashish, and Muskan. |
