Jammu, July 7: Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd.) held a Special Executive Meeting to commemorate the 4th Death Anniversary of Padamshree Late Shri Nilamber Dev Sharma, a revered scholar and distinguished son of the soil. The meeting saw the attendance of prominent figures such as Capt. Lalit Sharma IFS, Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, Yash Pal Yash, and Prof. Anupama Sharma, who collectively paid rich tributes to Shri Sharma’s monumental contributions to the Dogri Language and Duggar Culture. His instrumental role in ensuring the inclusion of the Dogri Language in the 8th schedule of the Indian Constitution was particularly highlighted and lauded. In addition to this homage, Nami Dogri Sanstha expressed profound sorrow over the demise of veteran actress Susham Sharma. Renowned for her remarkable talent and dedication, Susham Sharma began her illustrious journey under the mentorship of the legendary theatre personality, late Sh. Kavi Rattan Ji. Her exceptional performances left an indelible mark on the world of theatre, earning her widespread acclaim. Beyond her artistic achievements, she also had a distinguished career as a bank officer, embodying versatility and excellence in both her professional and artistic endeavors. |
