Early Times Report

Jammu, July 21: Advocate Maheshwar Singh Manhas (Provincial General Secretary DPAP) while addressing the meeting of DPAP’s workers at Nagbani ward no.65 Jammu North assembly segment appealed to the people to whole heartedly support Jenab Ghulam Nabi Azad Sahib (Former C.M J&K State) who has a vision for the future of J&k for its development, peace and prosperity.
Manhas added that the first and foremost agenda of their party is to get full Statehood restored.
The people of the area put forth their demands and they said that despite their area falls within municipal corporation the area has been neglected and step-motherly treatment has been given by the previous municipal corporation headed by BJP Mayor.
There is lack of proper drainage system and street lights. Even there is no play ground in the vicinity for the children.
Manhas criticized the LG administration for not providing proper electricity to the people in the area as there are frequent electricity cuts. He assured the people who were present that he will be available for getting their grievances redressed before the proper forums.
The meeting was organised by Sh. Prithvi Raj Singh Slathia and among others those who were present and spoke in the meeting includes Madan Pal Singh (District Vice President Jammu Urban), Pawan Kumar (Raju Mahajan) (Block President Janipur Paloura), Davinder Khajuria (Block President Bhalwal), Rajeshwar Singh Manhas ( Senior Vice President Block Janipur Paloura) , Arjun Singh Chib, Sanjeevani Sharma (Ex-Panch Gajay Singh Pura) and Ajay Deep Singh Jamwal.
