Jammu, July 21: In a significant crackdown on drug-related activities, the Domana police demolished an under-construction house on state land, illegally built by a notorious drug peddler. The police received reliable information that the illegal construction was taking place in the SOS area. A spot verification confirmed that the house was being erected by Pappu, son of the late Munshi, a resident of Gujjar Basti SOS.
The demolition was carried out in the presence of the SDPO Domana, SHO Domana, IC PP Pounichak, IC BPP Sandwan, and under the close supervision of the Tehsildar Jammu West. This action falls under the jurisdiction of the police post Pounichak.
The general public has expressed appreciation for the proactive and stringent actions taken by the police against drug peddlers, reinforcing the community’s trust in law enforcement efforts to curb illegal activities. |
