Early Times Report JAMMU, July 21: On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj, the revered Sadguru of Sahib Bandagi, delivered a profound discourse to a captivated congregation in Ranjdi, Jammu. Emphasizing the deep significance of Guru Purnima, he elucidated its spiritual essence and the pivotal role of the Sadguru. Madhuparamhans Ji explained that on Guru Purnima, the Sadguru merges with Satya Purush in Amar Lok, bringing forth the divine rays of Satya Purush to the disciples. This act symbolizes the transfer of spiritual enlightenment from the Sadguru to the disciple. He further highlighted that this sacred process occurs even during the giving of the name donation, which holds a secret and true name known only to the saints. This name is beyond worldly comprehension and is not to be written, spoken, or read, but it frees the disciple from worldly bonds, leading them towards spiritual liberation. In his discourse, Sahib Ji referred to religious scriptures, asserting that God resides within each individual, yet remains elusive to human understanding. He illustrated this with a simple analogy: a child questioning the origin of a new sibling, and the mother attributing it to God's gift without explaining the complexities, knowing the child cannot yet comprehend them. Shri Madhuparamhans Ji recounted the teachings of Kabir Sahib, who descended from Amar Lok to liberate souls from the clutches of time. He remarked that humans have long pondered the origins of the universe and the nature of God, but have yet to reach a consensus. He dismissed simplistic explanations, like the notion of water as the primordial substance, by pointing out that water is a compound of gases, and thus, God must be beyond physical elements. He stressed that while many serve the formless aspect of divinity, the true God, as per Sahib Bandagi teachings, resides in an immortal world beyond the formless. This immortal world is the source of all souls, and the true Guru, or Sadguru, is one who knows the true essence of humanity and liberates souls from the illusions of Maya (material world) to unite them with God. Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj's discourse on Guru Purnima underscored the paramount importance of the Sadguru in guiding and freeing souls, highlighting the spiritual depth and rich heritage of the teachings of Sahib Bandagi. |
