Early Times Report JAMMU, July 21: Demonstrating exceptional efficiency and commitment, the Police Station Janipur,Jammu successfully apprehended two accused involved in a brazen attempt to murder case within 24 hours of the incident. On the evening of 20th July 2024, Sh. Tanvir Kumar, a resident of Panjthirti Jammu, reported a shocking crime at Police Station Janipur. According to his statement, around 7pm his brother, Paramjeet Kumar was viciously attacked at his shop by two masked individuals wielding a Toka. The assailants inflicted severe injuries on Paramjeet's arms and fled the scene, leaving him for dead. In response to this grave incident, a case,FIR No. 83/2024 U/S 109/333/3(5)/351(3)/115(2) BNS 4/25 Arms Act was promptly registered, and an extensive investigation was launched under the leadership of Inspector Sumeet Sharma, SHO PS Janipur, with crucial assistance from PSI Sharaz Ahmed. Leveraging advanced technical resources and relentless investigative efforts, the police team identified and arrested the suspects, Arun Dogra Kumar @ Annu R/o Ward No 37, Janipur Colony and Ajay Kumar @ Lounji R/o Panssai Pream Nagar, currently residing in Bantalab Jammu. The police also recovered the weapon used in the crime, along with clothing and other items used by the accused to conceal their identities. Further investigations are underway to ensure that all aspects of this heinous crime are thoroughly examined.
