Drug abuse awareness program held by NILM NGO

JAMMU, July 27: National Incredible Literacy Mission J&K in collaboration with the Directorate of school education Jammu , organized a drug abuse awareness and prevention program in Govt High School Raipur of Bhalwal zone in Jammu district . Speaking with media personal Thakur K.D Kurhan Chairman NILM told that we are organizing awareness programmes to spread awareness against the ill-effects of drugs menace among the school students .He added that our organization is committed to do all efforts to uproot drugs from our Jammu and Kashmir. For this Thakur K D Kurhan Chairman NILM requested to the general public of J&K to play their role to contribute society .
During the programme Project Director NILM Jammu gave a detailed lecture over drugs addiction treatment through Yoga. He further added that drugs are degrading youth of the JK UT and he requested the youth to never get indulge in the company of those student who are consuming tobacco ,cigarette and alcohol these are injurious to health, he added that drugs start from small things like smoking and ends with destruction. He added that "Drugs give you wings to fly temporary, but eventually ,they take away the blue sky.
During the programme Narender Kumar Langer Headmaster of Govt. High School Raipur, Bhalwal appreciated the working of NILM NGO. He added that this kind of awareness will be beneficiary for school children to remain vigilant over such sensitive issues . Speaking on occasion Sheetal Devi Guest Lecturer and counsellor informed the gathering that youngsters get inspired through movies and film industries which are promoting evil things of society. She added that drugs are the most dangerous things which can destroy the whole family of addicted person .
Tilak Raj Parihar master gave a intellectual speech and presented vote of thanks at the end of programme. Chanderkanta, Sakshi Sharma and Anmol Sharma of school also actively participated in the programme.
