Felicitation ceremony honors meritorious students

RS PURA, July 27: In a grand Felicitation Ceremony held at Mother India Senior Secondary School, R.S. Pura, 47 outstanding students who scored 90% and above in the Class 11 and 12 Board Exams (Session 2023-24) were honored for their academic excellence. The event also highlighted the school's remarkable achievement of producing a total of 236 distinctions, with 142 in Class 11 and 94 in Class 12.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Mrs. Ateeksha Sethi, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) R.S. Pura, as the Chief Guest, and Manmeet Bali, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) R.S. Pura, as the guest of honour. The event was chaired by Ch. Mohan Singh, Chairman of the Management Committee of the school, and presided over by Sonia Tohra, Principal of the school.
In her address, chief guest Ateeksha Sethi congratulated the students, their parents, and the school's management and staff for their collective efforts in achieving such a milestone. She commended the management and staff for guiding the students and helping them realize their full potential. She encouraged the students to continue this legacy and bring further laurels to their families and the school.
Guest of honour Manmeet Bali also praised the students for their hard work and dedication in producing excellent results. She emphasized the importance of overall development and encouraged the students to engage in co-curricular activities alongside their studies. She extended her congratulations to the students, parents, teachers, and the school management. Ch. Mohan Singh, Chairman of the Management Committee, lauded the school's efforts in achieving 236 distinctions and praised the role of the school in producing outstanding results. Principal Sonia Tohra expressed her heartfelt gratitude in her vote of thanks. She congratulated the students for their achievements and thanked the teachers and non-teaching staff for their dedication and cooperation. She also expressed her appreciation to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and parents for their presence and support. The ceremony concluded with students and parents sharing their positive experiences and expressing their gratitude towards the school management and teachers for their unwavering support and quality education.
