Make J&K knowledge hub: Er. Nazir Yatoo | Parents should pool in money for creating university in Kashmir | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 27: J&K DPAP general secretary kashmir and incharge chararishereef constituency Er. Nazir Yatoo has asked the government to invest into education in J&K and let the private investment come into education so that the world class universities and colleges are built in Kashmir. In a statement, Er. Yatoo said, “Every year parents spend thousands of crores on funding their children’s education in other parts of country and world”, “why can’t this money be pooled and used for creation of a world class university here in Kashmir”. Government should free investment into education from excessive red tape and let money smoothly flow into creating long term educational assets, Yatoo added. “Education is a long term investment and its results will be yield in the decades to come and will also have trickle down effect over several other sectors which will be beneficial for the future generations”, Yatol further added. Yatoo also hoped that the local business tycoons should also give this idea a thought so that our picturesque places draped in beautiful greenery and favourable climate attract students from various parts of the country. |
