Prominent citizen Dr. Tilak Raj Gupta highlighted the importance of the Satellite Duggar Channel, stating, “This channel is essential to promote the Dogri language and culture worldwide through electronic media, allowing the world to learn about the Dogras and their rich heritage.” He also emphasized the channel’s potential to explore and promote tourist spots in the Jammu region, such as the Ambaran Buddhist monastic complex, which dates back to the 1st century BCE to the 4th-5th century CE. Such sites provide crucial historical evidence of a vibrant Buddhist phase in Jammu and served as important transit stations for itinerant monks and trade caravans. Vice President of DADAA, Madan Rangila, reaffirmed the association’s commitment to this cause, calling on all residents of Duggar land to unite in support of the Satellite Duggar Channel. “We will continue our struggle until we achieve our target,” he stated. The association’s spokesperson, Janak Khajuria, announced that the next signature campaign would be held at Tehsil R.S.
