The snag, which began earlier this week, has left thousands of customers unable to access essential banking services, causing widespread frustration and financial inconvenience.
From Srinagar to Jammu, customers have reported being unable to access online banking services and UPI transactions have come to a halt.
The disruption has hit a broad spectrum of the bank's clientele, from individual account holders to small businesses and large enterprises.

A grocery store owner described the situation as dire. "Most of my suppliers accept digital payments, and with the bank's systems down, I've had to delay payments. This is affecting my stock levels and my ability to serve my customers. Even the customers visiting my shop are unable to make the payments."

Meanwhile, J&K Bank has been sending SMS to its customers stating: “Due to an issue with our partner network our UPI/IMPS services are currently impacted and shall be restored as soon as possible. Inconvenience caused is regretted.”
