Early Times Report RS PURA, Aug 3: As part of the ongoing celebrations commemorating the 77th Independence Day, a painting competition was organized by the Cultural Committee in collaboration with the NSS and Swachhta Pakhwada campaign. The event, held under the patronage of the college's worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, took place from August 1st to 15th, 2024. The competition focused on the theme "Freedom Struggle and National Heroes," providing students with a platform to showcase their artistic talents. Through their paintings, students highlighted the significance of India's freedom struggle and the contributions of national heroes to the country's independence. The judging panel consisted of Dr. Neena Gupta, HOD English; Prof. Radhika Mahajan, HOD Chemistry; and Dr. Savtanter Kour, HOD History. The winners of the competition were Saksham Bhardwaj, who secured the 1st prize; Bishaka Sharma, who won the 2nd prize; and cadet Shikha Devi, who received the 3rd prize.
