DARHAL, Aug 13: In a vibrant celebration of India's 78th Independence Day, the Government Degree College (GDC) Darhal organized a spirited Tiranga Rally on its campus. The rally saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff members, all proudly waving the tricolor national flag of India.
The event was part of the nationwide 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, initiated by the Government of India to encourage citizens to display the national flag at their homes as a mark of respect and patriotism on this significant occasion.
Prof. Zamir Mirza, Principal of GDC Darhal, addressed the participants, stating, "This Tiranga Rally is our humble contribution to celebrating the glorious history of our nation. By coming together to proudly wave the Indian flag, our students are manifesting their patriotism and commitment to the country's progress."
The rally also saw active involvement from members of civil society, as well as representatives from the civil and police administration, reflecting a unified spirit of pride in being part of the world's largest democracy.
