Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 13: Students of Delhi Public School Jammu brought laurels to the school and their parents by excelling in International Level Annual Sir Isaac Newton (SIN) Physics Exam, a test of high school Physics, which was proctored online by the Department of Physics & Astronomy, University of Waterloo, Canada. The contest which was held globally brought together students from diverse backgrounds and academic institutions, providing them a platform to exhibit their understanding of the fascinating world of Physics and aimed to foster a spirit of scientific curiosity, among the young Physicists. The exam was a test of high school Physics meant to challenge the students to apply basic Physics in problem situations. Test, although challenging, was quite refreshing and fun. Out of 19 students, four students performed exceptionally well at International level and showcased their problem-solving abilities and a deeper passion for Physics. They are Pulkit Puri (XII- C), Aitazaz Hussain Zari (XII-C), Autika Hashmi (XII-C) and Aadhya Raina (XII-C), Students who excelled at National level are Nabiha Fatima (XII C), Arindam Sharma (XII-B), Lakshay Gupta (XII-B), Harmehar Kour (XII-B), Avika Gandotra (XII-B), Kanishka Sood (XII-D). Principal-DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated all the students, their parents and teacher incharge, Manika Verma who encouraged them to set their goals high. The management of DPS Jammu under the esteemed leadership of President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC, Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi congratulated the students and extended their best wishes for their future endeavours. |
