| GDC Khour organizes Pledge Ceremony | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 22: NSS & NCC units of Government Degree College Khour organized pledge ceremony under the SVEEP awareness programme to sensitize students about the importance of their participation in the upcoming J&K Legislative Assembly Elections 2024. The programme was witnessed by a large number of students including the Principal, faculty members & the designated SVEEP team of the College. In his brief address, Principal Prof. (Dr.) T.K Sharma (Nodal officer SVEEP, AC-82 Chhamb) appealed students to come forward and uphold the democratic tradition of our country by casting their vote fearlessly. He underscored the importance of voting as both a right and a responsibility, highlighting how voting is essential for shaping the future of society. He urged students to actively participate in upcoming elections and exercise their voting right. The whole event was coordinated by SVEEP team which includes Dr. Rashmi Sharma.
