Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 14: The NSS Wing, in association with the Department of Hindi, observed Hindi Diwas on a theme" Bridging traditional Knowledge and artificial intelligence" under the guidance of Dr. Shallu Samyal, Principal of the college. The esteemed event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome to the distinguished guests. In this event Eight participants delivered insightful speeches on the significance of Hindi in today's world and fifty students attended the function enthusiastically. Dr. Sapna Bhargav, Dr. Shiv kumar Khajuria, and Dr. Kusum acted as judges in the competition. Dr. Sunil Kumar Saliada, Head of the Department of Hindi, in his address, provided a comprehensive overview of Hindi's history and its contemporary relevance. The symposium speakers were awarded first, second and third prizes, respectively for their outstanding performances. Vijaylaxmi, sem-3 secured first plac3e, Tiwali, sem-3 bagged second place and Monika bagged third place, the consolation prizes were also given away to the participants. Dr, Shallu Samyal, principal of the college encouraged the students and stressed them to adopt Hindi as it is our national Language.The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks to the distinguished guests, participants, and attendees. The programme was meticulously planned and executed by Dr. Sunil Kumar Saliada, HOD, Hindi and Dr. Geeta Lakhotra, NSS Programme Officers.
