Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 14: Senior Congress leader and contesting candidate for Bahu Constituency, Taranjit Singh Tony, has pledged to make Bahu a model constituency through robust development initiatives. Speaking at a series of public meetings in Chaata, Bhermini, and Ratti Sarari, Tony emphasized his commitment to ensuring that rural and overlooked areas receive their fair share of development. Accompanied by Block President Latish Sharma, Bittu Sharma, and Senior NC leader Abdul Ghani Malik, Tony pointed out that these areas have been neglected by the current administration. "The BJP government has turned a blind eye to the real needs of the people here. It's time we correct this imbalance by focusing on the equitable development of rural regions that have been left behind," Tony remarked. He further criticized the present regime for creating divisions based on caste, religion, and region, and assured the people that his focus will be on unity and progress for all. One of his key promises is the creation of a new block in Bahu Constituency, which will cater specifically to the far-flung areas like Bhermini and Ratti Sarari, putting them on the development map. Tony appealed to the people to vote for a change in the upcoming Assembly elections, assuring them that the Congress will prioritize their concerns and deliver balanced, inclusive progress. "This is the time to join hands and ensure a brighter, more prosperous future for Bahu," he said, calling on the public to support his vision. |
