Senior Citizens Club Udhampur Pays Floral Tribute

Udhampur, Sept 21: In a solemn and heartfelt ceremony, the Senior Citizens Club Udhampur (Regd) paid floral tribute to its late Joint Secretary, Shri Sham Lal Gupta, whose untimely passing has left a deep and irreplaceable void within the Club. The event, organized by the Club, was a testament to the unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions Shri Gupta made to the growth and establishment of SCCU.
Club members came together to honor the legacy of Shri Gupta, who was an integral part of the Club’s foundation. His tireless efforts to ensure the welfare of senior citizens in Udhampur have left a lasting mark on the community.
Leading the tribute, Club President Shri Mahadeep Singh Jamwal expressed, “In the quiet moments, we remember a life well-lived, a heart full of kindness, and a soul that touched so many. Though they have left our world, their spirit remains forever etched in our hearts, guiding us with their love and wisdom. Sham Lal Gupta Ji was more than just a colleague; he was a pillar of strength for the Senior Citizens Club and a guiding force whose dedication and leadership were central to our Club’s progress.
His absence is irreplaceable, but his legacy will continue to inspire us.” General Secretary Shri Raj Guru added, “It is hard to imagine our Club without Sham Lal Ji. His vision and passion will always remain a source of inspiration for us. We will strive to carry forward the work he started with the same dedication and sincerity.”
The Club members including executive body and advisory board shared a collective resolve to honor his memory by continuing his work and voiced their commitment to continue the efforts late Gupta je championed, ensuring that his dream of a strong and vibrant community of senior citizens lives on.
A special message of condolence was extended to Shri Gupta’s family, with heartfelt support during this difficult time.
The event concluded with prayers for the peaceful rest of Shri Sham Lal Gupta’s soul and a renewed resolve to honor his memory through continued service to the community.
