GCET organises scientific test

Jammu, Sept 21: Global Counselling and Educational Trust organised a scientific test for finding interest of children by using Inventory (CIS) Comprehensive Interest Schedule under the guidance of Psychologist Madan Lal Sharma, Psychologist Shashi Pal Sharma, Psychologist Parul Sharma, Psychologist Vishal Dogra and other team of expert Psychologist and Counsellors conducted by counsellor Aditya Sharma in presence of coordinators Simran Sharma and Sapna Manhas at Bhartiya Shiksha Kendra HSS Domana . The programme was attended by students of age group between 14 to 24 years of the same school.The aim of the test was to find out interest of children by using scientific procedures so that students may not suffer in education and lead to better performance in education and also in their career selection.
Inventoried interest is the scientific way of assessing individual’s interest. This method involves asking individuals individuals to report their likes, dislikes and preferences among items in a list of activities occupations. This method is worldly popular and widely used one because it permits a broader sampling of behaviours, likes and preferences and also provides objective scores that permit individual and occupational group comparisons.
Comprehensive Interest Schedule a psychological test is highly helpful to the children in their career selection.The testing programme is purely scientific and the reports of the test shall be delivered soon by counsellor to the participated children.
School Principal Sandhya Pathania and other staff members thanks to the Global Counselling & Educaional Trust for the conduction of the (CIS) test in the school for the better development and Career Selection of the children.
