| GDC Ramgarh Conducts Cleanliness, Awareness drive at Mansar Lake | | |

Ramgarh, Sept 21: The NSS Unit Prabha in collaboration with Yuva Tourism and Eco Club of Government Degree College Ramgarh organized a successful awareness and cleanliness drive at Mansar Lake, a prominent religious and tourist site. This initiative was part of the "Swachta Hi Seva" campaign, which focuses on promoting cleanliness and environmental consciousness. The event was organized under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanajli Andotra, principal of the college. The event saw enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers and faculty members, including Prof. Brham Dutt, NSS Programme Officer along with Dr. Snobar, Convener Eco Club, Prof. Sandeep Kumari, Convener Yuva Tourism Club and Dr. Shivali Panjgotra, HOD, Department of Environmental Science. Participants engaged in various activities aimed at enhancing the beauty of Mansar Lake while fostering awareness about the significance of maintaining cleanliness. Volunteers collected litter, educated visitors on the importance of waste management, and distributed informative materials promoting sustainable practices. They also conducted interactive sessions, encouraging community members to adopt eco-friendly habits, such as reducing plastic usage and participating in local clean-up efforts. The drive not only aimed to clean the area but also encouraged visitors to take responsibility for their environment. |
