| GDC organizes slogan writing competition | | |

R.S Pura, Sept 21: As a part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada campaign, NSS unit of Government Degree College R. S. Pura organized a slogan writing competition today, on 21September 24 aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness among students. The event was held under the able guidance and patronage of Prof.(Dr.), Preetpal Kour, Principal of the college, who emphasized the importance of creative expression in spreading messages of cleanliness and sustainability.
Near about 30 NSS Volunteers of the college participated in the event with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talent and dedication to the cause of Swachhta (cleanliness). The competition was intense, with students crafting impactful slogans that reflected their commitment to a cleaner and greener environment. Mansi Sharma secured 1st position, Jatin Bhagat was awarded the 2nd position, and 3rd position was shared by Gursimar Kour and Meenu Devi in the highly competitive event.
The competition was adjudged by Dr. Neena Gupta and Prof. Shifali Abrol who praised the students for their thoughtful and creative contributions.
The slogan writing competition is one of the many activities organized by GDC R. S. Pura under the Swachhta Pakhwada campaign, which aims to instill a sense of responsibility towards cleanliness and environmental sustainability among students. The initiative encouraged students to actively participate in cleanliness drives and to spread awareness about the importance of a clean and green environment. The whole event was coordinated by Dr. Chanchal Angral, NSS PO and NSS members Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch and Dr. Savleen Kour. |
