NILM organized painting competition at Vivekanand Model School

Jammu, Sept 21: National Incredible Literacy Mission organized school level painting competition to aware school children about environmental changes and natural resources. Children of Vivekanand Model School, Bantalab, Jammu took part in this painting competition. This competition was organized by NILM NGO to aware the school children about green wealth and need of conservation of forest, water and other need full environment recourses. “This year many students learned the values of environment and water conservation through painting” Thakur KD Kurhan chairman NILM said. R S project Director NILM said, “This type of competitions are specially designed by our NGO to make a positive attitude among the children to love their surrounding and environment.” He further added that students are passionately participating in the competition. This way they are getting aware with inner talent as well as the students develop environment friendly attitude in them. During the painting competition Muzzafar Hussain Chairman of the Vivekanand Model School ,Asmat Bibi Principal of the said school along with Vice Principal Reetu Rani and staff members including Priya Thakur and Shahnaz Akhter actively participated in the painting competition event . NILM staff member including Neeraj Singh coordinated the whole event in the school. Some students also shared their experience, that this painting competition will develop positive attitude in them for environment as the competition was based on environment.At end of painting competition certificates were distributed among the participants by NILM J&K.
