| GDC RS Pura organised awareness lecture on Swachta Hi Seva Hai | | |  Early Times Report
RS PURA, Sept 25: As a part of series of activities to be carried out to commemorate birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. NSS Unit organised an awareness lecture by Prof. Shifali Abrol from department of Zoology followed by a quiz competition for "Swachhta Hi Seva Hai" programme in GDC RS Pura under the able guidance of worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour on 25th September 2024. Swachhta Hi Seva Hai programme is a massive mass movement that seeks to create a Clean India. The lecture aimed to promote the cleanliness and management of waste, and the contribution of this idea towards a progressive nation. About 30 students attended this awareness lecture and quiz competition with zeal and enthusiasm. The whole event was coordinated by Dr. Chanchal Angral, NSS (PO) and Dr. Savleen Kour (NSS member). A formal vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Chanchal Angral, PO, NSS. |
