Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 25: The Inter District Division Level Cricket Competition U-19 Boys continued on its 4th day at Khel Goan, Nagrota, Jammu, witnessing intense matches that determined the finalists. The event, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports of District Jammu, provided a platform for young cricket talents to showcase their skills and compete for district-level glory. This competition, held under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT, Sh. Rajinder Singh Tara (JKAS), and guided by Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, Sh. Ved Parkash (JKAS), is aimed at selecting top cricket talents for future state-level competitions. The event is being supervised by DYSSO Jammu, Sh. Sunil Kumar Sharma, along with I/C DYSSO, Smt. Harvinder Kour, with technical support from experts including Sandeepan Sharma, Sat Paul Singh, Vikram Dogra, Mukesh Kumar, Vishal Balotra, and others. Semi-Final Results: First Semi-Final: District Udhampur vs. District Poonch District Udhampur triumphed over District Poonch by 7 wickets to secure a spot in the final. District Poonch set a target of 115 runs in 15 overs, losing 7 wickets. Their top scorers were Mohd Irshad, with 51 runs in 32 balls, and Mohd Asif, with 42 runs in 30 balls. Shajait took 2 wickets for District Poonch. District Udhampur chased the target, scoring 118 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in just 10.5 overs. Royal Partap was the standout performer, scoring 67 runs off 38 balls, with Mannat contributing 20 runs in 14 balls. Sachin was the top wicket-taker for District Udhampur, claiming 2 wickets in 2 overs. Second Semi-Final: District Jammu vs. District Ramban District Jammu edged out District Ramban by 10 runs in a close match, earning their place in the final. District Jammu posted a total of 81 runs in 15 overs, losing 9 wickets. The highest scorers were Sujal, with 18 runs, and Aryan, with 14 runs.
