Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 27: The 7th District Jammu Kickboxing Championship, organized by the Jammu District Kickboxing Association under the aegis of the Kickboxing Association of J&K, which is duly recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, concluded today with a valedictory function held at the Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar. In an impressive competition, Shiksha Niketan School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu emerged as the overall champion, securing the top spot. R.M. Public School claimed the second position, while Baba Jito Club finished third, based on the total number of medals won across different age groups. The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 250 players representing various schools, clubs, and colleges. The closing ceremony was graced by Sh. Abhishek Jain, General Secretary of the Kickboxing Association, who presented medals to the winners. Mr. Ajay Verma, District President of the Kickboxing Association, attended as the Special Guest. In his address, Sh. Abhishek Jain lauded the efforts of Mr. Irfan Choudhry, General Secretary of the District Jammu Association, and Sh. Sudarshan Singh, Organizing Secretary, for their outstanding contributions to making the championship a grand success. He also extended his appreciation to the organizing team, including Deepanshu Gupta, Khushi, and Manik Singh for their dedication. |
