| Jammu to vote for scam-free, corruption-free, terror-free future: Kavinder | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister, Kavinder Gupta said that Jammu is set to choose a future that is scam-free, corruption-free, and terror-free while referring to transformational progress seen under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a statement issued to media persons on Monday, he urged the people to participate actively in the upcoming elections, which will define the course of Jammu and Kashmir's development for decades to come. "The region has seen unprecedented growth in vital sectors including public edifice, healthcare, education, and tourism sectors, along with decisive measures to root out corruption and curb terrorism under the realms of Modi Government," he stated.
"The promising governance model under the leadership of PM Modi has ended corruption and lawlessness that prevailed in the region like blood in the body during the regimes of successive governments. Today, the people stand on the cusp of a new era of development and failsafe security," he said while highlighting number of initiatives taken by the government to eliminate corruption, including a zero-tolerance policy, increased transparency, and the strengthening of anti-corruption bodies. He also dwelled on the revolutionary measures taken by the Modi Government to ensure a terror-free J&K, with robust steps bringing peace and stability across the region.
The former Deputy Chief Minister appealed to the people to vote for a future where scams, corruption, and terror have no place. He called on the people to vote and support BJP candidate for Bahu constituency, Vikram Randhawa and BJP's vision of a peaceful, prosperous, and secure Jammu and Kashmir, promising that their vote would contribute to a bright future for generations to come. |
