NC-Congress all set to form next Govt in J&K after Assembly Polls: Rattan Lal Gupta

JAMMU, Sept 30: Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), today asserted that the party, under the visionary leadership of Omar Abdullah, is poised to form the next government of NC and Congress in J&K following the upcoming Assembly elections.
He made this statement while addressing a Joining function at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, organized under the chairmanship of Jitender Singh Lucky, former Vice Chairman of the Cantonment Board and senior National Conference leader.
In his address, Rattan Lal Gupta strongly criticized the "hollow and anti people's policies" of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are tired and fed up from the false promises and ineffective governance delivered over the past decade. He remarked, "The BJP has subjected the people of J&K to 10 years of darkness. However, the dawn of a new era is on the horizon, as the Govt. headed by the National Conference is ready to bring true peace, and prosperity in J&K through its revolutionary and progressive manifesto, which has garnered massive support from the public." As it shall give new change to the life style and livelihood of the people of J&K.
The Provincial President emphasized that the National Conference's manifesto, crafted under the dynamic leadership of Omar Abdullah, will usher in "Acche Din" (Good Days) and transform the socio-economic landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. He added that people are eagerly awaiting a change, and the party is committed to fulfilling their aspirations with policies that focus on development, peace, and prosperity.
"The dark clouds of BJP's rule are dissipating," he remarked. "The rising sun symbolizes the National Conference's upcoming victory and the hope for a brighter, more prosperous future for Jammu and Kashmir."
The senior NC leader said that the Party has commited in its manifesto to provide 1 lakh jobs to youth of J&K, implementation of J&K Youth Employment Generation Act within three months, 12 LPG cylinders free of cost to EWS, free travelling of women in all public transport, enhancement of marriage assistance from Rs 50000 to Rs 75000, increase of medical allowance of pensioners to Rs 1000 from Rs 300, Minority Commission to be established, PDS to be strengthened and free ration of 10 kg per person per month shall be given to each BPL families, Rs 5000 Pm to each EWS household, free 200 units electricity power and free drinking water without charges.
Rattan Lal Gupta appealed to the people of the Jammu region to vote and support National Conference candidates in the upcoming Assembly polls with the aim of restoring peace, development, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir under the leadership of Omar Abdullah.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with numerous individuals joining the National Conference, reaffirming the party's growing strength and widespread support as the Assembly polls approach. He appealed to the people to vote and support NC- Congress alliance Candidates.
Among those who joined the party fold included:- Ashwani Kumar, Rajinder Singh, Harminder Singh, Madan Lal, Surinder Kumar, Shammi Mehra, Tarsem Pal Bali, Sanjeev Kumar and others.
Prominent party workers who were present included: Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Pardeep Bali Provincial Secretaries Jammu, Rakesh Singh Raka Vice President Central Zone, Waris Gill President Christian Cell, Gurmeet Singh, Dr. Gurdarshan Singh, Sunil Sharma and others.
