Jammu, Oct 5: Amid reports of the exit polls by different channels and survey agencies, the top leadership of the Congress approached the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) for the formation of a grand alliance. Although most of the exit polls predicted that the National Conference-Congress alliance would be in a position to form the government, the Grand-old Party wants the PDP should also be part of the government to ensure stability and strength of the regime.
