Early Times Report SAMBA, Oct 29: The police have solved a significant theft case in the Bari Brahmana area, arresting six individuals involved in the theft of batteries valued at ?6 lakhs. On October 9, 2024, a report was filed at Police Station Bari Brahmana regarding the theft of five tower batteries from a JIO Tower site near the Army canteen. Following the complaint, an FIR (No. 131/2024) was registered, and an investigation commenced. Under the direction of ASP SDPO Bari Brahmana, a police team led by the SHO of Bari Brahmana Station conducted an extensive search, leading to the arrests of the following suspects: Sourav @ DK, Khatik Mohalla, Rajasthan Mohd Aslam Sheikh @ Juley, Mednipur, West Bengal Aman Malik @ Shezad, UP Mohd Ali Sheikh, West Bangalore Mohd Abdul Sheikh, West Bengal Mohd Milan Sheikh, West Bengal During the operation, six stolen batteries were recovered. Among the arrested, two individuals were identified as receivers of stolen property and have been charged under relevant laws. The Samba police reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of citizens and their property. |
