Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 29: A pledge ceremony to mark the observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was conducted at the Zonal Police Headquarters, Jammu. The ceremony marked a significant step towards upholding the unity and integrity of India. Vishal Manhas, SP, S.O. to ADGP Jammu, administered the pledge in which all officers and personnel solemnly vowed to work towards strengthening national integration and promoting communal harmony. During the ceremony, all participants pledged to work towards a harmonious and prosperous nation. Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is observed annually to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The police department is actively participating in the week-long observance through various activities, including seminars, workshops, and awareness campaigns. The police department is committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring the security of the nation. By organizing such events, the department aims to foster a sense of national pride and patriotism among its personnel and the public.
