Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 5: Government Degree College (GDC) Jourian observed Vigilance Awareness Week from October 28 to November 3, 2024, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Pandoh. This year's theme was "Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity." A range of activities, including an e-Integrity Pledge, a Slogan Writing Competition, and a Rally, were organized to promote ethical values and anti-corruption awareness. The week commenced with an online Integrity Pledge, led by the Honourable Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Mr. Omar Abdullah, in which the college's staff and students participated. The Slogan Writing Competition held on October 29 aimed to educate students on the harmful effects of corruption on society. A Rally on October 30 saw students and faculty marching from the college to the main market in Jourian, spreading the message of transparency and ethics. On November 4, Inspector Kamal Sangra from the Anti-Corruption Bureau delivered an extension lecture titled "Corruption-Free Society," further emphasizing the importance of integrity. Organized by the college's NSS unit, the event underscored GDC Jourian's commitment to fostering a culture of integrity and raising awareness against corruption. |
