JAMMU, Nov 16: One day Awareness programme on First Aid, CPR, Choking, Fire Fighting and other emergency rescue methods through Demonstration by Civil Defence experts was organized at Tagore Memorial Hr. Secondary School Rani Talab Digiana, Jammu in which 100 students of the School participated. The Program was organized under the supervision of Dy. SP. Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. The students were also made aware about Disaster Management and risk reduction during natural or manmade disaster.
Chairman G.S Bhatti & Principal of the School Anita Gupta appreciated the role of Civil Defence in spreading awareness about disaster management and rescue.
Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden Civil Defence, Jammu, Ram Dayal Saini, Sub-Inspector, In-charge Trainings Civil Defence and other staff of the School were present on the occasion. |
