Jammu, Nov 17: Even though the scheduled elections of the four Rajya Sabha seats from Jammu and Kashmir has yet to be announced, at least a dozen BJP leaders are staking their claims on the berth in the Upper House. As per the number of MLAs in the Legislative Assembly, the BJP is in a position to win only one seat of the Rajya Sabha comfortably while on another seat the party has to manage some votes. As reported earlier, the nomination of five MLAs in the Legislative Assembly is very crucial for the BJP as this action will give a big boost to the party to strengthen its claim on the second Rajya Sabha seat.
