Poonch, Nov 19: The border town of Poonch, along the Line of Control, is all set to host ‘Jashn-e-Mehfil’, a grand musical gala on November 20, 2024, from 1200 hrs onwards at Pritam Stadium. This event, a key highlight of the Poonch Day Celebrations, will mark a historic milestone celebrating unity, resilience, and the vibrant cultural heritage of the region.
Renowned musical maestro Kabul Bukhari will headline the event, joined by talented local artists including Mohd Nazir, a visually impaired singer, Liyaqat Ali and Murshad G duo, as well as Khursheed Rather and Rameez Rather. The evening will feature a blend of traditional Gojri and Pahadi melodies alongside contemporary music styles, showcasing the rich artistic heritage of Poonch.
