Early Times Report RAMNAGAR, Nov 20: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Government Degree College Ramnagar, in collaboration with various student-centric committees, organized an Orientation/Induction Programme for newly admitted Semester 1 students. The event, held under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, Principal of GDC Ramnagar, aimed at familiarizing students with the college's institutional framework and holistic development opportunities. The programme began with Dr. Rakesh Kumar Pandita, IQAC Coordinator, briefing students on the National Education Policy (NEP) and its transformative approach to higher education. Committee heads presented key initiatives: Dr. Puyesh Kant Sharma, NCC Programme Officer, highlighted the role of National Cadet Corps (NCC) in fostering discipline and leadership. Prof. Eisha Gohil, Convenor of the Women Development Cell, spoke on the cell's mission to empower women and address gender issues. Prof. Ritika Mahajan, NSS Programme Officer, detailed the activities of the National Service Scheme (NSS) and its focus on social service.
