Early Times Report NAGROTA, Dec 7: Chinar Primary School, the junior wing of Sainik School Nagrota, celebrated its Annual Day Function with great zeal and vibrancy at the School Auditorium. The event was graced by Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, Chairman, as the Chief Guest, who also distributed awards to students excelling in various competitions held during the 2024-25 academic session. The program, themed "Vibrant India", began with a formal welcome and the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest, marking the start of the celebration. The cultural program featured a series of performances, including a captivating welcome dance, a melodious choir song, and a variety of lively acts such as Deep Dance, an Occupational Ramp Walk, Sufi Dance, an English skit, a humorous Lilliput Funny Dance, and an impactful Nukkad Natak on cybercrime. The event concluded with a vibrant performance of Gidda and Bhangra, leaving the audience enthralled. Renu, Teacher In-Charge, presented the Annual School Report, sharing highlights and milestones of the academic year. Nehru House was declared the overall winner of the session, with Tagore House and Gandhi House securing second and third positions, respectively. In his address, Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia underscored the importance of daily one-on-one interactions between parents and their children to strengthen familial bonds. The event concluded with the National Anthem, followed by high tea for all participants, creating cherished memories for students, parents, and staff. |
