JAMMU, Dec 7: Students of Government Degree College (GDC) Kunjwani achieved remarkable success in the ongoing Inter-College Tournaments organized by the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, University of Jammu. Kamaljeet Bhougal, a BA Semester III student, won a Gold Medal, while Ritesh Bhan, a B.Com Semester V student, secured both a Bronze Medal in the Inter-College Taekwondo (Men) Championship 2024-25 and a Gold Medal in the Inter-College Kickboxing (Men) Championship. Additionally, Gurmehar Singh Dutt and Ritesh Bhan earned one Silver and one Bronze Medal in the Inter-College Grappling (Men) Tournament. In the Inter-College (Men) Tournament, a team comprising Sudhanshu Rajwal, Shravan Katoch, Kalyan Basal, Hardik Manchanda, and Gagan Gagotra also secured a Bronze Medal, showcasing the college’s collective sportsmanship and skill. Principal Dr. Manisha Sarup Kohli, along with the staff, congratulated the winners for their outstanding achievements and encouraged them to aim for even greater success in the future. She also commended Mr. Malik Aijaz Iqbal, the Physical Director, and the Sports Committee for their dedication and efforts in preparing the students. |
