REASI, Dec 7: The Department of Sheep Husbandry, Reasi, inaugurated a state-of-the-art Wool Mandi at Pouni under the flagship Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP). The initiative marks a significant step towards boosting the wool trade and providing a streamlined marketplace for stakeholders. The Mandi is expected to serve as a key hub for facilitating fair trade and fostering industry linkages.
The Wool Mandi officially opened its doors to wool traders today, witnessing an encouraging turnout of buyers and sellers from the region.
