JAMMU, Dec 20: The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Central University of Jammu successfully hosted a hybrid mode Web Development workshop under Google Developer Group (GDG) on Campus, Central University of Jammu. This informative workshop, aimed at enhancing skills in modern web technologies, was held under the guidance of Prof. Dinesh Kumar, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. Jasvinder Pal Singh, Assistant Professor and featured expert-led sessions in hybrid mode. The workshop was organized in collaboration with O7 Services, facilitated GDG on Campus CUJ, with contributions from key industry experts including Ms. Damanpreet Kaur, Senior Full Stack Developer and Training Head, who led the session.
Gaurav Sharma, Chief Technology Officer at O7 Services, also shared valuable insights into the rapidly evolving world of web development. The event was further enriched by the collaboration of passionate individuals from GDG on Campus CUJ, including Samarth Prashar, Saloni, Riya Kumari, Farida Sabrin, Ansh Sharma, Sachin, Harsh, and Nikhil, who assisted with event coordination, interactive sessions, and hands-on guidance for participants. Participants gained practical insights into both front-end and back-end web development technologies.
Damanpreet Kaur provided in-depth training on full-stack development, focusing on building dynamic, responsive websites using the latest frameworks and technologies. The interactive sessions allowed participants to directly engage with industry experts and gain hands-on experience in real-time web development tasks. The workshop also featured discussions on current web development trends and technologies, helping participants stay up-to-date with industry standards. Prof. Dinesh Kumar emphasizes that the department has been committed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. He also emphasizes that the students must take full advantage of such kind of workshops and gain practical learning from industry experts.
