Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 20: Parth Slathia, Skating Coach and Alumunus, DPS Jammu (Batch 2016-17), brought laurels to the Alma Mater and his parents by winning gold medal in 62nd National Roller Skating Championship 2024 organized by Roller Skating Federation of India held at Mysore, Coimbatore and Bangalore from 5-15 December, 2024. In the final match, the team Jammu won by 3-1 defeating Punjab. Parth had participated in Inline Hockey Senior Men's category. It is also pertinent to mention that Parth had also represented the nation at 19th Asian Roller-Skating Championship-2023 held in Qinhuangdao, China from October 18th to 29th, 2023. Parth Slathia's accolades in the field of Roller Skating are nothing short of extraordinary. He has consistently showcased his exceptional skills by securing the national level silver and bronze medals for the past four consecutive years. His outstanding achievements also include being a six-time State Champion and a five-time District Champion in Roller Skating. Notably, during his school days, Parth had demonstrated his prowess in Inter-DPS and CBSE North Zone competitions, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals on more than five occasions, in addition to securing a bronze medal in the CBSE National Games. The esteemed management of DPS Jammu under the leadership of Hon'ble President-RCT, Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, Distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh Ji, Hon'ble Director-Sh.
