Kishtwar, Dec 22: In a heartening development, J&K Police District Kishtwar successfully located a missing girl and reunited her with her family after dedicated efforts.
A missing report concerning Sandhya Devi, daughter of Bhej Lal, a resident of Neju Saroor, Tehsil Dhrabshalla, District Kishtwar, was filed at Police Station Kishtwar under DDR No. 10 on September 16, 2024. Acting swiftly, Kishtwar Police launched an investigation. Under the guidance of SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Javaid Iqbal Mir-JKPS, a police team led by IC PP Drabshalla and supervised by DySP Headquarters Kishtwar worked diligently to trace the girl. Following sustained efforts, she was successfully located and reunited with her family after completing all legal formalities. The missing case was officially closed under DDR No. 06 on December 22, 2024. SSP Kishtwar has urged the public to collaborate with the police in addressing social issues and ensuring community safety.
